Tennessee Catholic Public Policy Commission

The Tennessee Catholic Public Policy Commission was founded in 1983 as the public policy voice of the Catholic Church in Tennessee. The CPPC serves in this capacity so that the Catholic Church’s position on public policy matters may be presented with one voice to the executive, legislative and judicial branches of state government. The most effective way to get involved is to join our Catholic Advocacy Network. Please click here.

Virginia Catholic Conference

The Virginia Catholic Conference represents the public-policy interests of the Commonwealth’s Catholic bishops and their two dioceses. On behalf of Bishop Barry Knestout (Diocese of Richmond) and Bishop Michael Burbidge (Diocese of Arlington) the Conference engages in advocacy on respect-life, social justice, and education issues through contacts with state and federal lawmakers, grassroots advocates, and media outlets. The Virginia Catholic Conference has created an e-mail advocacy network for parishioners, Catholic-school parents, and others interested in legislative advocacy based on Catholic social teaching.
