Baptism is the foundation of the entire Christian life, and is the gateway to all of the other sacraments. Those who are baptized are freed from sin and become adopted sons and daughters of God, members of the Church, and sharers in Her mission. (CCC 1213)
Parents seeking the sacrament of Baptism for their children are encouraged to contact the parish to begin preparation as early as possible; definitely even while they are still expecting. Baptism Preparation sessions are offered throughout the year. The sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on scheduled weekends throughout the year.
