Normative Policies Regarding the Sacrament of Confirmation for Adolescents Who Have Received the Sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist.
- He/she must be currently enrolled in at least the 10th grade and be at least 15 years of age
- He/she must present proof of his/her Baptism or Profession of Faith in the Catholic Church
- All candidates seeking Confirmation must be concurrently enrolled in a religious education program during the year in which they prepare for the sacrament. (This means registered and attending our Senior High youth Ministry Program on Sunday evenings for ongoing religion class. Attendance at youth ministry service projects and social events is not required.)
- All candidates seeking Confirmation are regularly attending Sunday mass.
If you meet these norms and are interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation this spring, please complete the registration form and return it to Sydney Farnum, in the church office, as soon as possible. Classes will meet on the Sundays listed below from 2:00pm-3:30pm. There are 8 sessions and a mandatory day retreat.
Confirmation Preparation Schedule: All classes meet at the St. Vincent dePaul Center.
